Join us for our 11th Annual HomeRun 5k and Mile Walk! We're bringing back our 5k run, but this time with the addition of a mile walk for those of you seeking an accessible way to participate and join in. This will be the first 5k held on the square in 10 years!

Participants will receive a free t-shirt and drink tickets to our 9th Annual Downtown Newark Food Truck Festival later that same day. Feel free to enjoy the DJ, sponsor vendors, or beautiful late spring air as we walk, or run, to end homelessness! The 5k Race begins at 9:00 am with a cutoff time at 10:00 am. The Mile walk begins at 9:30 am and ends at 11:00 am.

The event ends at noon and everyone is welcome to venture one block over to enjoy food and drinks at our Food Truck Festival!
